Why Tori is so special to Jennifer

Tori is spontaneous, energetic, fun, and funny. I love her playful spirit. She has a wide variety of interests and is always learning new things. Tori specializes her law practice working with senior citizens.  I admire her patience and compassion with this cherished population. Tori will be a wonderful mommy and I cannot wait to see her teaching our children to play scrabble and chess. Tori's heart is as big as her home state of Texas. Her capacity to love never ceases to amaze me. I know every day how much she loves me and our children will always know how much she loves them as well.

My childhood

My father became a single dad when I was one year old. When I was six, my father married the mom who raised me.  I have one brother who is two years older than me and one step-sister who is 7 years older than me. I was extremely shy until I was a sophomore in high school.  In school, I played basketball and ran cross country. I also played the flute in the band and had good friends.

I liked my mother's consistency and the support she showed in my desires to play sports. She was always there for me and made sure all my needs were met. I liked my father's playful spirit. He would play ball with us for hours. I truly believe I resemble both of their personalities pretty equally. I am playful like my father. However, I am serious and take care of business when necessary like my mother.

I enlisted in the Air Force in 1989 at the age of 19. I served during Desert Storm and am glad to have that experience. I got out of the Air Force in 1995, with an Honorable Discharge. In 2000, I enlisted in the Army Reserves, JAG Corps and served for three years as a 1st Lieutenant.

My career

I have my own law firm where I work on behalf of senior citizens. I am a hard worker, but I also like to be playful and silly. Having the flexibility to make my own schedule, I will be able to play hide and seek, teach our child to play chess, and attend school programs. I am very introspective and am continually learning about myself and various interests. I am looking forward to taking Spanish lessons with our child.
